We had a wonderful Easter, just the three of us. David woke up that morning with a horrible diaper rash which did put a little dent in our planned activities. We were unable to capture pictures of him discovering what the Easter bunny left behind because he needed a little air before we headed off to church! After service we enjoyed a beautiful brunch at Three Olives, difficult at times but yummy. The Easter bunny had to hide the eggs in our front yard this year due to construction in the back, which worked out okay because the Easter bunny had more places to hide them and David had a blast! We were a little worried that he would not be interested in hunting eggs because over the past few weeks we have tried "practicing" and even attended our play group's Easter Egg Hunt/Spring Party and he was not impressed. My guess is it being in HIS front yard made the difference. He really enjoyed running around finding all the eggs and even knew to put them in his basket as he collected them!
On the hunt...
Our silly bunny...
My Easter flowers that Daddy got for the table that weekend, aren't they beautiful? Ranunculas are my favorite; we actually had several in our wedding and rarely see them in stores.
Happy Easter!
