Night-Night

So a few months ago when David started struggling with the whole going to bed concept we started talking with him about everybody going night-night. When I would lay him in his crib we would start to talk about mama going night-night, Dada goes night-night, Ga goes night-night, and so on. It started turning into a nightly routine where David would talk about all of his family, friends and pets going night-night. Over the past week he has started incorporating things that have occurred during the day going night-night. The other night it was "imagination movers go night-night, shoes go night-night, socks go night-night, bye-bye go night-night, purse go night-night, Katie house go night-night (along with everyone in their family going night-night), pool go night-night, night-night!" Basically, we got up watched imagination movers, put on socks and shoes, grabbed mommy's purse and went to our friends house to swim! It is so funny to me what he recalls during the day. We make a habit to talk about our day every night at dinner, but now it seems like he is grasping that night-night time concludes the day. Looks like we our going to have to make some extra time in our nightly routine for his lengthy night-night list!
