4 Months and ALOT going on!

So last Friday David turned 4 months...I know I am a little behind on my posting. I cannot believe that he is growing so fast; 6 months will be here before we know it! We had our 4 month check up on Monday and Dave and I could hardly believe how big he is compared to when he was born. Here's the latest update;

David Paul Roser III
Born March 25th, 2008
6 lbs 15 ounces
19 inches

4 Month Check Up:
15 lbs 4 ounces: 65 percentile
26 inches: 90 percentile

Everday he amazes us! He truly brings so much excitement to our lives. Here are a few of his favorite things or should I say our favorite things at the moment.

1. Talking!

2. He loves all types of music, so we purchased an iPod docking station for his nursery. His favorites are Rockabye Baby! We purchased several of them through iTunes and he loves listening to them before naps and bedtime.

3. Tummy Time. Okay, he actually hates tummy time, but mommy is so proud of him because he is holding his head up so well and actually rolled over three times last week...yet to do it for Daddy.

4. Cuddling with his Little Giraffe blanky that is just his size and his Jelly Cat stuffed animals. He also loves his new Lamby Steiff that Grammy and Pappa brought from Germany. This child has a thing for rubbing soft and silky things to his face. A little strange, but truly the sweetest thing I have ever seen.

5. Drooling and sticking anything he can possibly grab into his mouth; this includes all the things mentioned above. I do believe that we will be seeing some baby teeth in the near future...yikes!

6. Mommy's favorite thing.......those beautiful big blue eyes and his smile. He is constantly smiling and is such a little flirt, but as soon as I bring out the camera he stops. I have been trying to get that video from above for over a week! Oh well.

Three Generations

Grammy and Pappa are here visiting from Germany. We were able to snap a few shots before church on Sunday. This is their first time to meet baby David and they are loving spending time and spoiling him!

Baby Fun

So last night we introduced David to his Baby Einstein Entertainer that Grammy and Pappa gave him. As you can tell he was highly amused.....talk about stimulation overload!!

RRHS 10 Year Reunion

My 10 year High School Reunion was this past weekend. It was also our first night out without baby David in 3 months! We had a nice dinner beforehand at Main Street Grill with our friends Melanie, her new fiance Travis, Nicole and her husband Trip. It was so nice to sit down for dinner and not have to worry about whether or not we were going to be able to make it through the whole meal.

We had a great time at the reunion. It was so nice to see so many old faces. It's so hard to believe that it has been 10 years.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for watching David and letting Mommy and Daddy have a great night out!

Happy 4th of July!

We hope that everyone had a great 4th of July! Being the only free weekend we have in July we took advantage of the time and relaxed. We enjoyed having a peaceful weekend.

We had to snap a few pictures of David in his 4th of July outfit. He looked so darn cute.

Our friends Mel and Brett had a neighborhood party that we stopped by. Their son Hunter was born 2 weeks after David. It was great to get the two together; even though there was not much interaction!

We finished the evening at home. Daddy was excited about shooting off fireworks. Too bad the little one was not awake to see them.

Visit From Aunt Sarah and Uncle Greg

This past weekend we had more visitors! Dave's other sister Sarah and her husband Greg, who live in Maryland, came to meet their new nephew. It was so nice to have them around. Greg is great at putting little David to sleep! Although it was great to see them both; we missed seeing our two nieces Kayla and Hailey. Our house is not quite kid proofed yet and with the new baby being high mainentance Sarah thought it would be best to leave them at home for this visit. Hopefully, David will meet his cousins at Christmas.

Here are some pictures from their visit. Thanks for coming to see us Aunt Sarah and Uncle Greg!!

Daddy and Uncle Greg got to sneak out Sunday morning for a round of golf. Someday David will be able to join them. For now, here is a picture of the two of them after the game.
